Duties and Responsibilities
As part of a team, and with interaction with relevant methodologies around related contract-related deliverables by ALC, the Programme Analyst is expected to perform the following activities and functions :
Support Country Offices teams to co-create and integrate SIP approaches in projects and programmes;
Support Intelligence, Advocacy and Community Building : Working closely with the A-Lab teams to extracting learnings from the field and developing relevant knowledge products that includes flagaship case study, reports, human interest stories to build visibility and intelligence;
Develop tools and processes to track progress, measure impact and communicate changes (perceptions, attitudes and systemic transformations);
Support coordination and integration of UNDP teams (at country and regional level) for SIP implementation; including urbanization’
Initate or lead knowledge management, training events, communication and the SIP Community of Practice;
Lead or contribute to research, concept notes, facilitation of workshops, management of operations (annual work plans and budgets, Long Term Agreements, etc).
Liaise with the gender focal points in the CO and BRH to apply strategic and practical analysis from a gender perspective to the ensure gender equality and women’s empowerment is promoted and mainstreamed in SIP intervention
Institutional Arrangement
The Programme Analyst will report to Head of the Accelerator Lab (UNDP Pakistan) and to the Regional Governance Advisor (UNDP Regional Hub).
The Programme Analyst will work in close collaboration with BRH teams, UNDP country offices and other key parties across thematic areas.
Directions and goals will be discussed and agreed between the 3 parties and adjusted as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience
Minimum Education requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in development, international relations, social sciences, innovation, communication or related fields.
Minimum years of relevant work experience
Relevant work experience on innovation for development. If candidate has only Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Required skills
Proven experience on innovation for development, sense-making, co-creation or impact measurement
Excellent writing and editing skills
Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section
Knowledge of local governance, SDG localization and portfolio development;
Solid analytical, communication and drafting skills;
Experience developing digital products and websites
Gender knowledge and awareness will be an asset.
