ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
You will act as a contact point for the Global Business Services (GBS) organization to facilitate the successful resolution of incidents, requests and questions addressed by the internal BAT clients and organization as a whole.
You will provide specialist expertise and administrative support to all customers, in resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of financial services using the Cherwell platform.
Reports to : Portfolio & Innovation Lead
Reporting Level : Individual contributor
Geographic Scope : Global
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Acting as point of contact for the GBS organization in relation to Cherwell, ensuring a high and constant level of service quality
Supporting the integration of assigned financial processes, working with project team members to resolve any preceding issues
Identifying potential opportunities for process improvement for financial processes and collaborate closely with the subject matter experts (SMEs) or project managers on any newly implemented projects- from crafting and validation of process manuals.
Ensuring any process changes or specifics are carefully captured in detail
Isolating incidents and proposes solutions for process improvement
Validating and analyzing the impact of the proposed process changes
Supporting the business users in achieving the business objectives, ensuring a standard way of working between all GBS centers
Leveraging off our system and tools to extract data and translate these into user-friendly reports

Do you have experience working with finance processes?
Do you have basic trouble shooting skills?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
University Degree in a related field or 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous work experience with a ticketing system / tool and analysing reports, identifying problems & challenges in the area of reporting and data functionality
Previous work experience in a customer oriented, multifaceted and global environment (preferably in a global business services structure)
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners and customers
Overview capacity of the workloads within the team and to handle them accurately in the agreed timelines
Advanced MS Office experience (especially MS Excel)
Advanced proficiency in English Language (both written & spoken)
In-depth knowledge of the Cherwell ticketing application applied to finance departments
Knowledge in using Power Bi as a reporting tool
