Job Description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead HR business partnering in Commercial Sales team by strategically leading a long-term talent agenda for Sales population spanned over 159 direct distributors and a retail universe of 300,000 shops around Pakistan (Snacks Sales business is widespread across urban and rural Pakistan - approx.
  • 881,913 km2 is the area spread of the country.
  • Maintain a healthy working environment by leading the implementation of innovative and creative programs oriented to promote front line staff engagement and motivation as well as coordinate and ensure OHS survey execution and actions plans.
  • Develop and execute talent decisions such as salary increases, HC control, new hires, contract renewals, disciplinary actions, internal moves, and structures changes for the sales team.
  • Collating employee development needs from PDRs / PPP discussions / ongoing discussions & mapping with available development programs.
  • Ascertaining group development needs and evaluating the need for any development intervention / s. Tracking & updating the progress on the Capability & learning front.

  • Build the Employee Engagement Plan for overall Sales population a macro plan for the whole team as well as effective execution via collaboration with Sales Leads, Zonal Sales Managers & Area Sales Managers
  • Identification of training needs for frontline team and collaboration with Talent Management team with the planning and execution of the function’s training strategy at all levels especially for front line.
  • Includes all levels from L01 L11)

  • Identify the needs and develop a strategy for competency based recruitment and selection of right candidates Sales team.
  • Also responsible for pre-joining & post joining support and smooth onboarding (online Profile creation & Offline onboarding) for all new hires.

  • Ensure consistent and impactful coaching of leaders to effectively drive people agenda, work cross functionally and deliver results with the field sales teams.
  • Lead D&I, engagement & Training & development agenda for Sales team. Design a people strategy to ensure best in class environment & development interventions.
  • Spearhead ERC cost optimization for relevant population, leading from the front to ensure minimum variance (Allowed variance 1% or below).
  • Drive a culture of high performance via effective implementation of PMP processe inlcuding Objective Setting, People Planning, effective employee development initiatives as well as quality performance year long discussions.
  • Focus on the leadership development of HIPOs within the function and prepare leaders for tomorrow through PepsiCo leadership growth model philosophy.
  • Conduct quarterly HR roadshows all over Pakistan for Sales population
  • Facilitate & support HRBP Commercial in operational activities for whole Commercial population
  • Ensure timely completion of COC Certification / OHS / FPR / MYR / PDR etc. as team is working remotely in differed locations (online & offline population, both).
  • Track and execute employee confirmation process within 90 days of new hire including degree verification, reference checks & CNIC verifications.
  • Tracking & execution of Exit for resigned employees after getting clearance from all stakeholders building insights & analytics on employee exit data to ensure Sales turnover is well below market norm.
  • Responsible to ensure KC Testing for Pak BU Commercial team and ensure 100% compliance to following all processes and procedures in line with Control environment, all documentation to be upto date online & offline both.
  • Uphold documentation for updated Org charts, JD review & Employee Files
  • Support Sales team working from different location for Admin, HR & IT related issues e.g. issuance of Visa letter, job certificates for different purposes & experience letter etc.
  • Support Team for updating employee’s reporting in MYHR after Promotion. Transfer Ins / Out or other hierarchical change, issues related to MY P&D, MYHR, and MYHR self-service.
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    Key Skills / Experience Required

    Qualifications & Skills :

  • Masters in HRM
  • Efficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint & Word
  • Train the trainer certification is an added advantage

    Preferably 5-6 years experience in similar capacity / operating organization with HR exposure

    Well versed in handling large teams and multiple stakeholders
