The Role : Data Associate, Data Stewardship & Analysis

The Location : Islamabad, Pakistan
The Team : Data stewardship is a functional role within the MI Fulfillment’ Team and that work closely with the Data Governance Office.
Data Steward coordinates with the key stakeholders across Commercial, CRM Operations, Order Management, Fulfillment, Collections, Marketing, Finance and Technology, to ensure an organization’s data is accessible, usable, safe, and trusted.
It includes overseeing every aspect of the data lifecycle : creating, preparing, using, storing, archiving, and deleting data, in accordance with an organization’s established data governance principles for promoting data quality and integrity.
The Impact : The data steward is responsible for Fulfillment domain. They serve as the data governance subject matter expert to the Fulfillment business function they represent.
They are acting in a cross functional method through policies, processes, and procedures regarding data. They enforce these policies as appropriate and provide training and expertise wherever needed.
They serve as a business owner of the data and work to make sure that high quality data is produced.

As a Data Associate, you will :
Define and identify assets within the Fulfillment function and ensure that there isn’t any conflict with other data elements.
Own and be responsible for Fulfillment domain and will be the go to person for the internal customers to answer any questions, address feedback and concerns around data within the Fulfillment Data domain.
Provides advanced data / operations support for a range of research activities.
Provides advanced support to the data corrections, audits, and sizing / reporting
Has an in-depth understanding of datasets and the downstream workflow and application in adherence with guidelines and policies.
Participates in release testing and workflow enhancements
Works closely with project teams to plan and implement process and operational changes across businesses.
Designs new process guidelines, writes business procedures and training materials, and leads implementation plans and stakeholder communications.
Facilitates business governance team across assigned business / region for workflow systems with a focus on managing process and functionality improvements.
Assists in tracking quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure process and / or content quality. Provides fact-based interpretation and analysis of findings and knowledge-based recommendations to management.
Self-starter who enjoys managing their own time and tasks; Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications :
The candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience working in any of the operational teams (CRMOps, Order Management, Fulfillment, Data Governance) within Commercial or OTC.
Solid understanding of the business processes within Commercial & OTC
Deep knowledge on the MI Fulfillment Operations they are responsible for, including understanding processes, rules, and requirements.
As well as functional understanding, a knowledge of the data flows and data sources will be important.
On the job exposure to problem solving techniques and other concepts / tools relating to Root Cause Analysis, LEAN and data management is a must.
Exposure to workflows and / or projects related to data integrity and report out will be a plus.
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications and documentation
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, findings & recommendations to Senior Leadership, Line Management & Peers
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and Strong negotiation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite of tools (Including the Visio)
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor / Master’s degree from reputed University
Strong Knowledge of process engineering and six sigma methodology.
Aptitude for information gathering, particularly asking appropriately focused questions, and continuing with logical, subsequent questions
