Site Name : Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Posted Date : Jun 14 2021 Job Purpose The Planning & Forecasting Lead manages and is responsible for the performance of the finance team supporting the relevant Finance Directors (FD) for their BU by preparing the in-market annual and monthly forecasts.

They will also be responsible for challenging and finalising the annual budget for their market as well as preparing monthly management reports for the in-market FD to evaluate performance.

They are also responsible to coordinate, supervise, consolidate financial forecasting information, ensuring that managerial financial reporting is performed, in time and in the forms required by Corporate guidelines, facilitating managerial decision making. Education & Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of Finance experience (min one two years in FP&A role)
  • ACA / ACCA holders or University degree in Business Administration or Finance, MBA desirable
  • Demonstrable post qualification experience within a similar industry
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience required
  • General Key Responsibilities

  • Work to support ViiV International Regional FBP to execute all major GSK planning Cycles (including Annual Plan, Up2, Fc1, Rollover and Flip) including oversight of Commerical and OneP&L markets
  • Act as key liaison point for markets to support planning process and other key financial processes
  • Identify and drive planning process improvements to support Making Finance Easier initiatives
  • Manage OE, Operating Cash Flow, Working Capital, Headcount, CAPEX in addition to P&L
  • Ensure interdependency with IFP projects and leverage CCC data in financial forecast and updates
  • Monthly Processes

  • Consolidating and review Month End commentaries. sharing with the ViiV team and help in developing draft comments for ViiV International region.
  • Driving SG&A Management for the region by aligning with the Segment WoWs

  • Responsible for the facilitating MPR reviews for the region using the Standard MPR deck and consolidating input from the markets.
  • Understand the link between plan & actuals, analyse the gap, challenge business for variations and support in defining the future growth plans

  • Responsible for managing the core commercial cycle by consolidating the monthly CCC results, running ViiV Backouts. Creating, updating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Regional S&OP decks (standard tables, comments, R&O consolidation etc) for regional leadership and supporting their decision making
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests from regional finance teams e.g. trend analysis for a product type, scenario planning etc
  • Annual Processes

  • Plan / UP2 / Rollover : Working with ViiV Segment / Regional team to prepare in-market annual budget timelines / approach and communicate them to in-market finance team.
  • Responsible for creation, update and maintenance of the financial models (PV) for annual plan and monthly & quarterly forecasts.

    Proactively work with business partners / in market P&F teams to finalise plan / forecasts / management reports . Supporting the regional team for preparation of review decks and templates etc

  • Lead Flip (BDR+1 and NC Flip) reviews from P&F side together with the regional team, create review reports to facilitate the reviews and sign off
  • Supporting the Soft Landing and Update 1 process in collaboration with the regional team
  • Being the point of contact for all management reporting questions
  • Jointly signs-off plan & management results with FD
