The Role Responsibilities
Ability to manage BAU and assigned tasks to meet the timelines. Awareness and understanding of Group Business strategy and model related to the role.
Work with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant members.
Ensure implementation of AML / CDD Risk framework tools & manual that are necessary for risk management activities. To pre screen and process all clients as reviewer / analyst and coordinate with branches / SAT / ASU for completeness of documents
Ensure CDD information completed are current and valid, as per the required standard
Client documents are complete and updated in core banking system
To conduct Customer Due Diligence Risk Review for all MEDD / EDD / SDD (Risk Based) business banking clients.
To ensure quality and timely completion of all activities i.e. report extraction, review on e-BBS, MIS updating, and resolution of CDD deficient case referrals through branches.
To ensure quality in all Periodic and Triggers Reviews in order to ascertain the facts of the cases and bring it to a satisfactory conclusion in a timely manner and as per timelines prescribed in the DOI
Design and suggest action plans for early closure of service issues and continuous process improvements in order to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls within CDD Ops-RB.
Ensures that quality work performed during performing reviews.
Timely resolution of deficient cases after contacting the customer and coordinating with branch within timelines as per the DOI.
Ensure that E2E MIS is prepared and maintained all time showing current status of all periodic and trigger Reviews and is readily available at any given point.
To effectively interact, communicate and engage with all stakeholders i.e. Relationship Manager, Branch Manager, ASU, Banking Ops, FCC, BORMs etc to achieve the objectives of the unit.
Perform any other activity that comes under the ambit of AML / CDD / Sanctions in RC.
To ensure to complete assigned DRR cases in timely manner
Meet expectations of senior management to meet assigned targets.
Ensure engagement with and support of major business change programmes / learning’s thus ensuring that appropriate consideration of risk and control is given to all change.
Keep abreast of developments in Governance and advise the business accordingly.
Partnering the business, compliance, FCC and OR on AML / CDD matters to ensure business growth is balanced with risk management and control in place.
Ensure compliance of AML, CDD policies & procedures in accordance with Group and Local Regulatory guidelines.
Ensure AML / CDD Framework is adhered to; initially the risk methodology / policies and then the relevant Group Operation risk policies & procedure adherence.
Ensure compliance of Group code of conducts
People and Talent
Assist and coordinate training efforts to promote risk management and compliance culture within the Business. Ensure gaps are identified and staffs are suitably trained on operational risk and compliance
Assist in building relationships across the region to understand issues and identify areas for improvement for the organisation as a whole.
Share best practice to improve the control environment; make recommendations to Head CDD Operations.
Exhibit best practice to improve the control environment; make recommendations to Regional CDD Management.
Provide assistance to the business in meeting regulatory requirements.
Ensure TO complete all assigned E-Learning with in stipulated time frame .
To coach and council new joiners in their BAU activities
Execution responsibility for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating financial crime risk, sanctions risk and reputational risks to the Group.
Understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them
Ensure awareness and adherence to all policies, guidelines, procedures and local regulatory requirements.
Drive and implement an effective risk management framework, and promote a strong risk management and compliance culture.
Read, understand and comply with all provisions of the Group Code of Conduct..
Attended all required trainings.
Ensure early identification and escalation of risks, issues, trends and developments to relevant stakeholders
To ensure the clean desk policy as per group requirement .
To ensure Customer Due Diligence requirements as prescribed by the bank are duly adhered to.
All Legal and Compliance guidelines are adhered to.
Data confidentiality and secrecy norms of the bank are adhered to.
To ensure that all the processes prescribed by the bank are fully adhered
Maintain complete and detailed knowledge of all the assigned products

To maintain MIS on daily basis of all Service Request which received from Branches and ASU
Distributes those tasks with the team including dormancies.
Perform Norkoms and searches for product team as per governance email.
Do all work whatever assigned to me from my seniors and managers except BAU
