The International School of Bucharest is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated BSO / CIS Accreditation Coordinator.

The Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the accreditation process in accordance with established CIS and BSO standards, policies, and procedures.

The Accreditation Coordinator aims to assure quality training and compliance with BSO and CIS accreditation standards.

Applicants for this role will :

  • hold a PGCE, BEd and QTS or equivalent;
  • ideally have a minimum of 10 years teaching experience and experience of leadership positions.
  • be a well-organized, reliable, enthusiastic individual to review, monitor, and evaluate school as part of the accreditation process.
  • Role Responsibilities :

  • draft, consolidate, and edit team visit reports for subsequent review and evaluation by accreditation bodies;
  • provide assistance to inspectors during the accreditation process;
  • assist in conducting Accreditation Workshops and working committees for accreditation or reaccreditation;
  • review school policies, procedures, and expectations with the accreditations standards;
  • serve as the chair / liaison of assigned committees / domains;
  • review, track, and respond to documents related to the assigned committees and domains;
  • upon review, recommend actions to the full Committee(s) and / or the whole school SLT for their consideration;
  • provide assistance to local authorities to related queries;
  • follow a highly effective means of initiating and maintaining school;
  • successfully show progress towards and compliance with publicly stated standards;
