Manage and develop the business relationship, performance and share of wallet across the entire supply chain of the client, including the full spectrum of Maersk products (Ocean and L&S) within or outside the global tender(s), with assigned clients.
Work along with the Local Sales Manager to be the bridge between China & Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities ;
Position Maersk for access to the right stakeholders, influencers and decision makers throughout the customer organization
Maintain and develop customer relationships. Strive to expand the scope of personal client contacts across all relevant and multiple functions and departments in the client
Identify individuals in the client where a relationship should be developed / maintained by other relevant colleagues from any function and at any level within Maersk
Be consultative, a problem solver and a connector’ between the client and Maersk, leveraging the expertise of our wider organization
Match our products to the client’s needs, providing sustainable transport and logistics solutions and value adding services for which we can profitably and legally be paid for
Client Strategy and planning
Drive the business growth of Chinese MNCs in PKA area and also support the global client development strategy
Manage and develop the relationship with the client in line with Maersk strategy
Develop client business plans that encompass ocean and Logistics & Services products
Define value propositions and work closely with Maersk functions to grow revenue across products
Plan, prepare, manage and negotiate all business opportunities in scope
Responsible for Customer Satisfaction
Support the overall customer experience and support global value proposition
Cooperate with all Maersk functions, working as one-team, with aligned goals. Including Product organization, Customer service / delivery teams and Sales Support
Deliver client profitability as per budget
Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance
Responsibility for both contractual sales control and non-control which will vary from client to client, and for different products and services within the same client
Who we are looking for :
Chinese and English speaking is a must.
Logistics work experience of 7-10 years is preferred.
Would need a certain amount of travel, within the country depending on
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and build good engagement levels
Should be able to be in the constant hunt for new business and ensure their movement through the sales cycle.
You should have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to work as a team player through collaboration and mutual coordination
