An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant to work with us. The chosen candidate will be assisted with career development and the opportunity to complete their ACCA qualification.

The role will give you exposure to a variety of bookkeeping and accounting assignments. The work will be varied, full training and support will be provided.

Your day-to-day work will include bookkeeping and accounting. Progression to a higher level is expected.

To be considered for one of the new roles it is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA or equivalent. The positions available are for two Trainee Accountants.

The requirement for these roles are highlighted below. To be considered for one of the positions it is desirable if you have at least 12 months’ work experience in an accountancy environment.

If you are currently working for a UK based practice this would be advantageous.

All potential employees must be able to speak and write in fluent English .

About The Roles : Trainee Accountant

Trainee Accountant

  • Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities.
  • Completion of VAT returns (sales tax returns).
  • Bookkeeping and Payroll responsibilities.
  • Assisting with tax computations both personal and corporate.
  • Assisting senior team members.
  • Candidate Requirements

  • ACCA qualified, part qualified or equivalent
  • IT proficient : Excel and word (essential).
  • QuickBooks, Xero and other accountancy bookkeeping software experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Good English communication skills (essential).
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and business owners at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven planning and prioritising skills.
  • Good technical and analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus.
