    Key responsibilities areas :

  • Managing the day to day production activities and ensuring that the production shop floor and workstations are running smoothly and cost effectively.
  • Promoting operational excellence and production of high-quality products.
  • Liaising with different teams across the plant to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Driving continuous improvement regarding line efficiency by periodically reviewing performance results of production lines and taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Reviewing worker performance and implementing coaching and training as required.
  • Driving the continuous improvement and optimisation of processes to maximise safety, quality and productivity.
  • Analysing plant performance and proposing as well as implementing processes to improve the consistency of operations.
  • Developing SOPs and Process Flows for new and / or modified equipment and procedures to meet functional and reliability requirements.
  • Determining critical process metrics that can be monitored on a regular basis.
  • Conducting process audits and resolving audit findings.
  • Providing a clear direction and focus to all plant employees and allocating resources to ensure produce optimum results.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the plant to ensure it is running efficiently, safely and cost effectively.
  • Ensuring correct and timely product supply.
  • Managing the teams to optimise production output and product quality and ensuring on-time shipping.
  • Monitoring and reviewing all quality indices in compliance with corporate guidelines, as well as laws and regulations governing the plant.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Providing technical expertise to drive design and development transfer to operational capabilities.
  • Improving the quality of outputs through continuous improvement of operations (TCM).
  • Key Competencies :

  • Minimum 5 years experience with bachelor degree Preferably in rubber technology

  • You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.
  • You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments

    We are hiring for a company which is producing plain knitted gloves for the Japanese, German, Australian and UK markets which then expanded towards the US, South American and far east markets.
