Job Description

Responsible for end-to-end support management of the Newgen EDMS System and customer implementations. The role requires the incumbent to provide support for EDMS process across UAE and IBG countries.

Responsible for support EDMS suite of applications. Provide L2, L3 support for Newgen EDMS& Java Suite of applications and support strategy of technology by achieving objectives and goals.

Provide ongoing support to for EDMS processes & applications and build monitoring solutions for all platform systems and software infrastructure.

This includes HP UX , AIX and Linux systems, Oracle databases, applications, and new technologies (Cloud,SOA) . Responsibilities include, doing L2, L3 support , bug fixes , upgrades , patching , monitoring and alerts and provide uninterrupted service by providing high quality of support to Business and Operations

Key Result Areas :

  • Responsible for support of new solutions across the range of modules within Newgen EDMS Application.
  • Estimate, propose, design, build & document solutions on EDMS
  • Expertise in Newgen EDMS product & Newgen Omni suite stack and supporting products.
  • Understand existing EDMS processes and making changes to the code.
  • Ability to debug the code and identify the issues.
  • Responsible for application architecture and design.
  • Develop and support end to end web applications using Java & Newgen EDMS
  • Support Omni scan, Omni flow and Omnidoscs for critical process support bank wide.
  • Expertise on Omni scan , Omnidocs & Omni flow
  • Hands-on experience with business process modeling, simulation and conducting playback
  • Help business in solution preparation / bug fixes, product demonstrations, responding to business requests etc. Data requests and data patches,
  • Conduct EDMS design sessions for all players involved especially business users / partners.
  • Engage and carry out change management activities such as process definitions, implementations, user acquaintance.
  • Develop application blueprints, roadmaps and data migration strategies.
  • Manage Vendor Partners & Execute projects for specialized areas.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions
  • Responsible for BPM Upgrade activities and migrate before EOL application support
  • BPM Suite applications support are most critical application in the bank and bank operation is depended on these applications with 18* 6 support across UAE and IBG countries.
  • Stability and uptime of EDMS application at 100%.
  • Effectively manage the EDMS suite of application in the bank team and responsible for stability, monitoring and control, capacity management and incident management of the most critical application of the bank.
  • Responsible for setup, management, and tools to automate monitoring of platforms
  • Develop dashboards for technology and operation teams
  • Streamline monitoring and alerting
  • Create or refactor shell scripts and ability to understand programming logic
  • Craft operations and technical documentation for developed systems and applications
  • Will directly or indirectly be responsible for infrastructure, security, audit, risk, incident & SLA management, architecture, human resources including engagement, budget financials & tracking, capacity planning.
  • Engage cluster leads and application owners from other streams for day-day support activities and provide support in delivering their components.
  • Expertise of Support and Implementation of advanced technical integrations with external systems
  • Implementation of advanced process routing of tasks
  • Development of portals that provide process visibility through custom reports and scoreboards
  • Contribute effectively to build Center of Excellence.
  • Mentor and supports other team members in BPM and related areas of expertise
  • Communicates effectively, works collaboratively and cooperatively with others
  • Health Check activities of BPM and Application servers
  • Work and interact with ISG on periodic basis and close ISG observations across the platforms
  • Ensure patching of servers are done on regular basis ( Lower and Prod)
  • Focus on regulatory, control & audit requirements and manage all known risks related to team and systems that can affect security of data, system downtime, incidents etc.
  • To identify and highlight best practices in support management through continuous assessment, process driven and implementing the thus optimizing resources (both onsite and offshore).
  • Ensure the smooth every day running of the support team ensuring that SLAs are met and that quality targets are achieved and consistently maintained.
  • Responsible to Plan, execute and manage the employee engagement activities for the team
  • Participate in KT sessions and transition work from Change to RUN
  • Ensure Stability of Platform at all given times
  • Automate housekeeping activities of EDMS as per housekeeping document
  • Work with other interface teams on time to time basis for support on bug fixes and problem ticket resolution
  • Create training materials and user manuals, requirement gathering, functional specs, design and test cases documentations.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years’ Experience in Respective Application Domain and Support line and a minimum of 2 hands on experience in implementations / migration of Newgen EDMS / ECM product.
  • Technical knowledge in Newgen EDMS , ECM, BAM Reporting tools
  • Knowledge on Banking business and products.
  • Good business understanding, especially on Newgen EDMS / ECM service management

    Requirements
