Goals :

  • To execute the vision of the Mobile Advertising team by developing and fostering relationships with the top publishers and advertisers in Pakistan.
  • To run operations on a day-to-day basis by managing a team of operational resources.
  • To differentiate our offering from that of a typical digital agency by offering value added services such as targeting (using our own data), creative optimization and extensive campaign reporting.
  • Your Typical day at work :

  • Understanding our agency and advertiser clients brief and translating it into a media plan that leverages our assets and media mix.
  • To help build an ecosystem involving (but not limited to) media sales community, in-house research departments, client and creative agencies in order to develop unique and strategically appropriate media approaches.
  • This includes exploration of venues (sites, apps, monetization models, creative technologies, etc.) that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our clients' objectives

  • Planning and Buying across a variety of existing and emerging digital assets in Pakistan
  • Optimize all the running campaigns at multiple levels (eg. creative optimization on advertising front and yield optimization on publisher front) to get the optimum results.
  • As part of this, think of ways to add value to publisher inventory using a combination of proprietary data, publisher inventory, creative types etc to increase rate and the margins

  • Manage campaign reporting to advertiser / agency in an industry leading manner to establish trust and measurement of ROI in a tangible manner
  • Working closely with the BI and analytics teams to package and segment data to create value ad for advertisers
  • Fostering and maintaining strategic relationships with advertisers, publishers and agencies in Pakistan and helping them make the jump to a truly innovative and next generation digital advertising world
  • Building strong long-term relationships with media vendors / suppliers on behalf of agency and clients. This includes working with emerging publishers and internal product managers who are working on launching new assets so that they can become part of the media mix in the future
  • Working with internal teams to leverage internal Telenor assets from a publishing and media sales perspective
  • Compare different media properties with solid recommendations for clients and / or colleagues
  • Manage order processing, invoicing, approval of media insertions and campaign reconciliation including make-good negotiations as needed.
  • Manage the team to produce post campaign buying reports, competitive spend analysis and other campaign related reports
  • Manage a team of publisher operations, advertiser operations and analysts to ensure end to end execution on digital campaigns
  • Mentor and assist with training of Junior and Assistant Planners as needed
