Amazon Finance Automation is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader who will lead the technical design, development and production operations of a global financial system that serves Amazon Finance worldwide.
Your leadership will operate and evolve a set of services that are at the core of financial transactions between customers and vendors and Amazon business units like AWS.
A strong candidate will have experience with designing, building and operating secure, distributed systems that operate globally.
This is a great opportunity to grow yourself to the next level by learning to scale a key in-production system through AWS.
You be responsible for the architecture, redesign, upgrades and Java based micro-services that will provide availability and latency guarantees.
Finally, you will lead a team of expert engineers, and will raise the engineering bar by hiring, growing and mentoring engineers.
