Responsibilities

You will be responsible for :

  • providing administrative and logistic support in organising and coordinating all the general as well as academic administration and project related activities of Human Development Programme (HDP) and IED
  • entering and managing data and extracting reports from such data, as assigned by the project Principal Investigator (PIs)
  • helping PIs and other project staff in preparing log frames, work plans, reports, presentations, briefs and other documents
  • handling HDP’s and IED’s petty cash account and timely submission of petty cash vouchers, disbursement and summary reports
  • processing ROPs, travel and field advances, expenses claims and summary reports, contractual staff wages, leaves’ form, accommodation and food requisitions, online purchase and material stock requisitions, online travel request forms and its timely follow ups
  • maintaining proper records of all the fixed assets, equipment, general office supplies / stationery and other project materials of HDP and IED and ensuring its availability, proper handling, issuance and timely receiving by the users
  • coordinating with IT and Maintenance departments to launch IT and maintenance related complaints and timely follow-ups to resolve those complaints
  • generating reports of the work, assignments completed or pending.
  • You should have :

  • a Master in Economics, Business Administration or related fields from HEC recognised or foreign university / institution
  • at least three-years related work experience
  • strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • proficiency in using computers and a range of softwares, especially MS Office, SPSS, videoconference platforms like Zoom
  • ability to manage assigned task according to timelines
  • ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • ability to be flexible, patient, and work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • good organisation and planning skills
  • good interpersonal skills, positive attitude
  • good understanding of how development projects work.
