The Role : Editor -SNL Financial Holding

Job Grade : 9

The Location : Islamabad, Manila

The Team : The successful candidate will be part of our expanding Private Equity and Real Estate news team, which covers global private equity news, and the US real estate market.

We are currently expanding our private equity coverage, so the candidate joins at a pivotal moment for the team.

The Impact : Private Equity is a key focus for the business going forward, and the candidate will play a role in our growing coverage of the industry.

Readership of our PE is growing significantly, so the candidate’s work will have a growing audience.

Responsibilities :

Write up PE and RE news stories from press releases, regulatory filings, and other news sources

Take ownership of one weekly newsletter

Write longer form, data-driven stories using proprietary data

Pitch ideas for features

What We’re Looking For :

Basic Qualifications :

Fluency in written and spoken English

Formal writing qualification and / or experience. Preferably in journalism

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Interest in / experience of writing about financial markets

Basic Excel capabilities
