The Treasury Operations Manager for our Global Treasury will ensure efficient day-to-day treasury operations and will be responsible for Cash Management, Cash forecasting, FX dealings, Treasury Projects, and also for all Payments and Collections.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Define and maintain the treasury infrastructure for all markets for optimized treasury operations
  • Managing treasury relationship with Uber treasury and owning the funding and repatriation of monies to and from all Careem entities (Loans, TP settlements, etc)
  • Monthly reporting of all treasury activities to senior management
  • Analysing and performing appropriate hedging and funding activities (Forex, loans, deposits, etc.)
  • Cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting
  • Managing banking relationships
  • Driving treasury specific projects / initiatives across Careem globally
  • Accounting, Reporting, Month end closing with respect to FinOps items and Audits (incl Bank Reconciliations and cash flow statements)
  • Take ownership of all cash inflows and cash outflows of Careem bank accounts globally (Be clear on funds flow process of all LOBs)
  • Complete ownership for drivers payments process
  • Collections ownership incl Credit cards, Corporates and Drivers
  • Key Requirements?

  • You possess a degree in Finance or accounting
  • You are a qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, ICAEW, CPA)
  • You have 5+ years of prior work experience in a similar role
  • You have managed a team of associates
  • You are familiar with Oracle financials (preferable)
  • You have strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
