Demonstrate the value of Pioneer products and facilitate farmers in their buying decision through pull activities of farmers meeting, field days and one to one contacts in existing and developing market.

Maintain and expand dealer network to push product in the market and meet sales volume target. Assist Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in the development of sales plans & strategies aligned with business direction.

  • Achieve sales volume and revenue goals 30%
  • Manage dealers’ accounts, supply orders, collection and receivable as per COFP 15%
  • Create Pioneer brand and product performance promotion through farmer meeting, field days and travelling seminars, resulting in high brand value, customer retention and good relationship building 15%
  • Farmers complaint resolution for a satisfied customer and retention 10%
  • Assist RSM in Sales Planning & Strategies Development 10%
  • Develop the Agronomic and technical knowledge of farmers resulting in improved yield and income. Create biotech awareness, communicate new technologies and solution 10%
  • Identify technology need for insect and herbicide, conduct on farm mechanization trials and provide solution for mechanical planting, harvesting and drying 10%
  • Regular feedback of field activities to Regional Sales Manager (RSM) through verbal and written reports 10%
  • Education

  • M. Sc (Hons)in Agriculture or other related courses preferred
  • Experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant industry experience

  • BS or advanced degree in natural sciences, agronomy or related science. Previous sales experience and knowledge of crop protection market desirable.
  • Must be able to decide how to resolve customer problems to maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of : Environmental, regulatory, and stewardship issues of DuPont Crop Protection & other competitive products at the local / regional level.
  • DuPont competitive product / service offerings; local agricultural markets; value chain and production practices. Demonstrated skills in : Selling & marketing products and services.
  • Negotiating win-win strategies, conflict resolution and handling objections by taking initiative & finding creative solutions.

    Getting desired results by following agreed upon plans. Identifying and using effective methods for collecting, interpreting & communicating market, customer & competitive data.

    Demonstrated ability to : Clearly communicate with customers and peers. Effectively work in a team environment and network with peers Build / maintain strong relationships with customers, key industry / market influencers, DuPont, Pioneer and partners to meet goals within a team environment.

    Effectively manage accounts to satisfy customer needs by understanding customer and Company requirements for success. Work independently with minimum supervision and operate within budget.

    Work in and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment. Identify opportunities for competitive advantages with new and existing products in the marketplace.
