About the Role :
We are seeking a highly qualified Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to establish our email channel strategy and deliver large scale growth, testing & optimization initiatives.
This candidate has a proven track record of developing and executing programs to improve conversion rates across the buyer journey.
In this role, you’ll work closely with campaigns, product marketing and analytics to day-to-day execution, management, reporting and optimization of our email marketing campaigns for new customer acquisition and retention.
What You'll Do :
Manage campaign execution from idea creation, copywriting, deployment, scheduling, segmentation, production, A / B testing, and optimization
Execute a customer- first approach to all email strategy for new customer acquisition, customer upsell / xsell, customer retention, and customer referral & advocacy
Build emails drafts, manage HTML edits, and collaborate with creative team on design, copy and email messaging
Employ a consistent best-practice approach for creating email templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws
Pull weekly campaign marketing reports and drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue
Develop test methodology and apply data driven techniques to optimize across all funnel stages - for example : personalization, frequency testing, messaging testing, offer testing, creative testing, segmentation / targeting and delivery timing testing
Partner closely with marketing ops to maintain data hygiene and automated processes within marketing automation as well as Salesforce
What We're Looking For :
3+ years of email marketing experience in a SaaS, Freemium organization. Major plus for experience in driving app download growth
Advanced knowledge of a major marketing automation tool (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Hubspot, etc.) and Salesforce
Knowledge of digital marketing and integrated campaign strategies
Experience owning analysis on how email contributes to overall revenue
A proficient writer willing to draft and test copy with support from brand
Creative email marketer who understands the importance of visual design
