Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring availability of ASRS system by executing the maintenance (Preventive, Condition-

  • based and Reactive) & trouble-shooting of ASRS related Electrical & Instrumentation equipment including but not limited to;
  • Main ASRS Control Room
  • Power Distribution system to Cranes, Shuttles, Handlings and Robopac including power cables, Carbon Brushes and barcode health
  • Cranes, Shuttles, Robopac and Handling Field panels
  • All drive motors of Cranes, Shuttles, Robopac and Conveyors along with VFD Drives and auxiliary circuitry
  • Pneumatics (SOV, Cylinders, actuators, valves, control valves),
  • All installed PLCs, networking cards, relays, contactors and other auxiliaries
  • All Sensors and auxiliary circuitry
  • All Safety circuits
  • All system networking (Ethernet, Radio, etc.)
  • Heaters, temp sensing devices, VFD’s, Optical sorter system, Allen Bradley PLC
  • The incumbent shall be responsible to liaison with technical store team for review & maintaining the critical parts inventory of E&I related ASRS spares.
  • The incumbent shall be able to demonstrate competency on software and protocols including but not limited to;
  • Systore
  • Technical Store & Spares Issuance
  • SAP PM (Work Order Creation, Spare Reservation, Execution & Fulfillment).
  • SAP Ariba based PR generation
  • Entry Level Computer and MS Excel Skills
  • The incumbent shall be able to :

  • demonstrate basic analytical skills to perform basic downtime analysis to identify focus areas and drive interventions to reduce downtimes
  • lead initiatives to drive improvement across E&I Operation & Maintenance regime to improve technical availability, reduce system E&I Downtimes and reduce R&M cost
  • Ensure regular health check of Systore & physical inventory monthly to ensure 100% reconciliation
  • maintain 5S, initiate Kaizens and maintain discipline
  • Develop monthly performance report of his assigned plant area and effective daily shift reporting
  • Deal with contractors for assigned jobs
  • learn & comply with EHS, HR / IR / ER and Food Safety regulations & Principals.
  • Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical / Electronics
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar capacity
  • Sound knowledge of handling situations independently
  • Sound knowledge on E&I equipment
  • Flexibility and endurance in a challenging environment.
  • Good team player, knowledge sharing

  • Peer relations building and good communication skills
