JOB PURPOSE & KEY METRICS :
Support and execute operational excellence in all Sustainability supply chain activities. Advise business to ensure that all supply chain partner vendors lead in social and environmental sustainability.
Execute all activities aimed at assuring cutsewfinishlaundary fabric mills meet TOE and legal requirements and have management & reporting systems in place.
Educate and advice vendor partners, other key stakeholders, employees on Social and Environmental issues and support upward Sustainability initiatives.
CRITICAL RESULTS :
Provide business support and advice on Terms of Engagement (TOE), legal compliance as well as verify that all LS&CO approved garment and fabric manufacturers are in compliance with legal requirements in Pakistan.
Manage LS&CO. relationships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, third-party service providers, development partners, government, and other brands.
Monitors changes in local social, Health & Safety and environmental sustainability laws and regulations and works with hisher manager to ensure LS&CO.
policies and standards evolve to meet local requirements.
Reporting to the different internal and external stakeholders to assure legal and TOE compliance, as well Key Performance Indicator’s assuring accuracy according to the deadlines requested.
Manage to external monitors network in Pakistan, who are engaged by vendors for different sustainability related initiatives.
Support sustainability induction for key GSC, Affiliate employees in Pakistan.
Manage potential alerts driven mainly by external request or out of LS&Co monitoring programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Ensure supply chain operations, vendors locations meet LS&CO. social and environmental, health and safety standards and policies.
Works with suppliers, SSM partners, third party service providers, other brands, government, and civil society to understand & improve the overall sustainability status of supply chain.
Collaborates with suppliers, SSM and other stakeholders to analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Works with suppliers, SSM and other stakeholders to enhance supplier management systems, management and worker capacity building projects to ensure continuous improvement on LS&CO.

Investigate any allegations against the reputation of LS&Co in terms of sustainability related activities & provide recommendation to resolve the issues in a sustainable manner.
Work with suppliers to deliver on targets under material issues Water, Carbon, People etc.
Drive data accuracy on compliance and other reporting parameters set under material issues and programs / projects.
Provides advice, guidance, and education to SSM and Commercial operation’s teams on social and environmental sustainability standards, procedures, and program initiatives.
Monitor relevant changes in social and environmental sustainability laws and regulations.
Build and manage LS&CO. relationships with Sustainability related external stakeholders, including NGOs, third-party service providers, government, and other brands.
Manage / lead Strategic programs of LS&CO.
Global Higg co-ordination role and for other assigned programs (TBC later); act as key contact for external and internal stakeholders, monitor and report out the progress, support and work in collaboration with relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) and support with providing knowledge / experience as well as accurate and reliable data.
Support Social Sustainability Projects / Programs at regional level.
Work with vendor partners and SSM to ensure compliance to LS&Co terms of engagement (TOE) and other initiatives in the area of Social and Environmental Sustainability.
Develop and implement initiatives in supply chain to reduce internal and external risk as well as ensure no disruption to production at vendor partner sites because of Labor Health & Safety issues.
Exhibit precision and organizing in his / her behavior, while dealing with suppliers and external stakeholders on Sustainability requirements.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE :
Bachelor’sMaster’s degree in law from a renowned local or international institute.
3 to 4 years’ of working experience of law firms and courts.
Good communication skills.
Good Analytical skills.
Strong Influencing / Collaboration and Negotiation Skills.
