ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible in developing, communicating and implementing successful brand strategies and activities that excite and engage consumers.
Reports to : Group Brand Manager
Geographic Scope : Local
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Develop and execute an operational brand plan to meet brand objectives and customer requirements.
Create strategies that align to overall brand portfolio and business strategies and focus on achieving brand objectives.
Involve agencies in planning processes where appropriate.
Ensure brand executives are trained and motivated to analyse and support the development and implementation of brand programmes.
Propose goals and KPIs for brand programmes and track ongoing results.
Manage budgets and help to develop sales forecasts for allocated brands.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Proven leader with the ability to motivate, coach, develop people and coordinating large, diverse teams.
An effective communicator and presenter with the presence to influence and negotiate effectively
A strategic thinker and confident decision maker with strong project management skills
Degree in business or marketing with a sound foundation in commerce and quantitative analysis
Brand marketing experience gained in an FMCG environment, together with any trade marketing or key account management experience, would be a plus.
Experience of leading the creation of effective brand marketing programmes and cross category marketing.
Have knowledge of developing trade communication programmes
Experience in brand positioning and proposition development
