The opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is wishing to broaden their HR experience, specifically within the operations management area where you will obtain experience, exposure and knowledge across all areas of HR.

You will be required to ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle. You will directly report to the Assistant Director Talent Team The role will also require you to work closely and partner with the other Talent (HR) functions as well as senior management and to ensure consistency of user experience, client satisfaction, timeliness and responsiveness of service, quality of service, efficiency of delivery etc.

Your key responsibilities

Ensure the Onboarding process is as per the guidelines and the timelines are strictly followed.

Ensure smooth onboarding and induction trainings of new employees.

Coaching employees through concerns or issues

Support EY programs and local efforts related to D&I initiates of Talent Team

Provide assistance to Talent Lead in Performance management and Learning & Development initiatives for employees / trainees

The role requires to build relationships with Service line in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements, identify resourcing channels and ensure the smooth induction of new staff in coordination with head office Recruitment team.

Promote inclusive and enabling culture at EY Pakistan

Conduct Exit interview of all employees. Compile bi-annual Exit analysis and share with the HR Leader.

Counselling employees on HR policy & Firm matters

Support other Talent team members on compliance matters

Skills and attributes for success

Strong oral and written English language skills are required

Training and presentation skills

Tech Savvy and Detail oriented

Demonstrate strong commercial acumen

Demonstrate strong relationship building and networking skills

Demonstrate competency to work in virtual teams

To qualify for the role you must be

Business graduate with minimum of 3-4 years’ experience of working as HR Generalist within a professional services firm or a multinational organization.

Professional HR Qualification (CIPD, SHRM etc.) would be an added advantage

Have very good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with members of the Talent team in regional headquarters.

In-depth knowledge and experience of recruiting end to end, attracting candidates up to Senior level from a variety of sources including internal recruitment systems, internal networks, headhunting and referrals

Experience of working with digital HR solutions (SAP, Oracle, Cloud based HRMs etc.)

Sound knowledge of HR policies, processes and talent management practices within professional services or other industry preferred

Exposure in grievances handling and managing disciplinary proceedings

Ability to build effective working relationships and engage with business leaders and peers

Good numerical acumen, with some experience of forecasting and cost benefits
