Position Title : IT Assistant / Technician

Reporting to : IT Manager

Department : Information Technology

Location : Bahria Town Phase 4, Rawalpindi

Position Purpose :

We are looking for an IT Assistant / Technician who will be handling laptops, hardware, software and troubleshooting. Installing and resetting operating systems.

Laptops and printer support for a company or they provide network support. Install network support such as routers and switching as well as cabling.

Regularly monitoring networks to ensure that they are running optimally and that no problems are slowing down a networks performance.

Education & Professional Qualification :

  • Degree(s) / Major(s) : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a similar field from a reputed university.
  • Certification(s) : Not mandatory, but a Diploma or Certificate in IT would be preferred.
  • Experience :

  • Over 1 year of experience in a relevant field.

  • Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshoot and fix computers that have issues. Knowing how to find the root cause of a problem, solve it, and ensure it doesn’t happen again is a process you should be familiar with.
  • Setting up and configuring software and applications on PCs or Macs.
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems.
  • Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.
  • Troubleshoot systems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as needed.
  • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company.
  • Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an IT Technician.
  • Good team player with task time management skills.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fundamental technical issues.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.

  • Requirements

    Previous experience working as IT Technician. Good team player with task & time management skills. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.

    Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

    Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication.
