Assistant Manager Accounts

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for overall accounting functions, controls and data management
  • Perform bank reconciliations, manage provisions, expenses and scrap scales
  • Maintain and prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable and receivable
  • Process and record details of petty cash expenditure, payments of supplier and ledger reconciliations
  • Verify balances in account books and rectify discrepancies
  • Prepare data for compliance with tax authorities and perform physical stock counts
  • Ensure proper deduction of withholding taxes and its submission to relevant authorities
  • Person Specifications

  • CA-Inter / ACCA with 1 year of experience preferably in power sector
  • Strong grip over budgetary principles with competent IT skills
  • Team player with ability to handle pressure
  • Advanced Excel & Oracle Financial R12 skills
