The Role : Manager, Client Operations

The Location : Islamabad, Pakistan

The Team : This is a Manager position in the Site Leadership domain within Commercial. Site leaders are important to Commercial's success because they give us an understanding of local dynamics, talent development and employee engagement.

They work to get the best out of our employees and ensure Commercial teams are represented well among the larger Content and Technology organizations in the same operating sites.

Site leaders help functional leaders understand what is happening locally and serve as the voice of the employee.

The Impact : This Manager is expected to represent the Client Operations and Allied teams in Islamabad to start off with as well as support and execute on our local strategy surrounding organizational branding and positioning.

They are also expected to lead other teams in Commercial in a Site Leader capacity as they settle into the role.

Responsibilities : The main responsibilities in this role are listed but not limited to :

  • Co-managing various teams within the Client Operations domain with respective functional Managers overseas.
  • Drive employee engagement for respective teams.
  • Support and execute various organizational branding initiatives internally and externally.
  • Coach employees for High Performance by focusing on effective Career Development.
  • Hiring, Onboarding and Training Employees in collaboration with respective stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders apprised and act as an extension of their Functional counterpart.
  • Work with various administrative groups to ensure and enhance employee experience with the organization.
  • Bring Operational Efficiency in operations by identifying synergies between different teams in Commercial.
  • Drive Communications for Islamabad Commercial team and ensure all stakeholders are apprised with all the relevant details.
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • A solid communicator who is well-versed across different, functions, cultures and geographies.
  • Someone who has an adequate understanding of our Client Support functions and what those roles require.
  • Well-versed with stakeholder management across different industry segments and geographies.
  • Ability to engage, motivate and empower employees coupled with the ability to manage and hold them accountable and develop them higher roles in the process.
  • Experience working for at different industry teams within the Client Support realm.

  • Working knowledge of Performance and Developmental coaching for employees at various levels and with different functions.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a positive manner keeping all stakeholders apprised and included.
  • Passion for interacting with different people from different cultures and backgrounds and work on different projects leading to a win-win situation for all geographies.
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience overall, with 3 years in Commercial / Client Operations.
  • A solid understanding of the Client Support model for MI and CIQ Clients.
  • Long-term thinking and vision.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2 years of People / Process Managerial experience in their current role
  • Experience across the various functions in the Client Operations domain.
  • Project Management Experience and / or relevant qualifications.
