What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like? -Within 30 days you will : ·Attend and graduate from our company-

wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products.

Meet with the B2G team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map.

  • Meet internal stakeholders within the Jazz Business (marketing, service delivery, operation, etc.) along with other divisions such as commercial, technology, digital and business.
  • Develop understanding of your division, function, its structure, and your role within the team.·Building contacts with government department authorities and understanding how to get the work done smoothly and efficiently in line with Compliance policies.
  • Within 60 days, you will : ·Grasp deep knowledge of your work and how it contributes to the overall success of the function and company indicators.
  • Mentoring your team members, take ownership of their issues and ensure escalation at the appropriate forums for improved efficiency.
  • Develop new business pipeline and ensuring it is aligned with annual business plan.·Devise plans to increase the revenue growth of key products including GSM, Fixed, DFS and M2M.
  • Updates & follow project / tender progress and status through daily, weekly and monthly meetings with respective stakeholders.
  • Monitors pre and post launch activities of the project; identifies issues or any problems and engage relevant stakeholders·Regularly monitor key indicators and ratio between revenue and payment;
  • ensuring aging is within approved brackets -Within 90 days to onwards you will : ·Developing strategy for existing new government verticals and ensuring it is aligned with Jazz digital agenda for government segment.

  • Actively participate in the monthly Large Scale Projects with relevant teams and function heads for smooth execution of the projects.
  • Prioritizes the projects delivery according to criticality and directions by management and regulatory authorities·Take full ownership of the tasks that have been assigned to your team.
  • Continuously review and bring improvements in KPIs assigned to you and your team. ·Be proactive and creative by bringing forward new ideas and processes for the betterment of your whole team.
  • Ensures staff is equipped with the requisite knowledge; Identifies training requirements to develop subordinates·Leads and coaches staff;
  • Creates synergies and ensures seamless interaction between teams A bit about you : ·We are looking for someone who has prior experience in a Business Development role and is technically savvy with excellent knowledge on telecom processes and systems.

  • An individual who can lead Business Consultant team and provide guidance to improve the effectiveness of sales and post sales activities·The applicant should be able to manage the team, foster a sense of unity and uniformity amongst the team members and regularly counsel them.
  • He / she should lead by example with a proven track record of business development and delivery of multiple projects within the telco domain.
  • A bit about us : B2G function is part of Jazz Business and our team is responsible for developing business in government sector.

    We work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve assigned revenue targets and resolve issues that occur on regular basis which results in growth of GSM, Fixed, DFS and M2M.

    The structure of the team you will join is : Based in Lahore. This position reports to the Head of B2G. You as Regional Head of Business Development will lead a team of talented Business Managers and Consultants.

    You will be part of a 5 members sub-team reporting to the Head of B2G. The five (03) main priorities of the team as a whole are : ·Achieve monthly / annual revenue targets of all products.

  • Creating synergies with and developing new business opportunities in government segment.·Focusing on account management for better experience to the customers.
  • With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional / regional / within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?

    Regular interaction with all the stakeholders within the B2B Marketing, B2B Operations, Service Delivery, MFS & M2M Overlay etc.

    to ensure that expectations are managed and the projects / products are successfully managed and delivered. The two (03) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.

  • New business development in the government verticals·Participation in all relevant tenders floated by Punjab government departments·Revenue target achievement assigned to the region The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
  • Telco Business & System Knowledge / Acumen·Sales Management and Channel Development Skills·Stakeholder Management & Communication The two (03) must have technologies the candidate should have.
  • Digital Platforms·Telco Billing System·Microsoft Office Essential skills must have : ·Good communication and conflict management skills for managing cross-
  • functional projects.·Performance Management & Team Development skills·Excellent team building, mentoring and motivational skills.
