The Country Manager will
Manage all technology daily operations and continually evaluate them according to business needs
Work with the Tribe leads to optimise squads and resources
Ensure the team can work in an agile way through training, feedback sessions and structure
Be responsible for reduction in attrition, accuracy of estimates and quality
Create and implement strategies, policies and systems to meet business objectives
Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
Ensure projects are delivered on time & within budget with quality
Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects
Identify any risks to the roadmap and its delivery and report to management
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to management
Ensure highest levels of quality assurance
Prepare a variety of status reports on projects and the company's technology status, goals and progress
Manage, train and develop employees in all departments
Be a mentor and support to the team
Ensure appropriate controls & procedures are in place and complied with
work with the Head of Infrastructure and Security to eliminate security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security
Manage and support the implementation of new software and hardware
Identify and recommend new technology solutions and methods
Work with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules
Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company's products and services
Keep track of industry trends and developments
Manage and track the support team and report on trends and issue status.
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the Technology industry
Solid technical background to manage, motivate and mentor people
Deep knowledge of Agile practices especially Scrum and the software development process and lifecycle.
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
Ability to conduct technological analysis and research
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership and organisational abilities
Advanced skills in Jira and Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Work, Power point
Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure AWS and Azure and micro service architecture
BA / Bsc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
