Manager / Assistant Manager Air Freight Overview The incumbent will be responsible to manage all air freight (export / import) related business activities at Lahore station as per customer expectations & company standards including operations, retention & growth of business, procurement , customer services, operational system KPIs maintenance etc.

Managing all AFR (export / import) related business activities at Lahore station as per customer expectations & company standards.
Maintaining professional relationship with all operating carriers.
Procure freight rates, space & services from the most suitable carriers from time to time keeping in mind market / competition situations.
Make joint sales calls along with sales colleagues as per need.
Contributing in retention & growth of business by maintaining close liaison with sales team as well as directly with customers according to situation.
Maintain professional & effective business like communication with network offices in connection with their inquiries outgoing / Incoming aiming at converting every inquiry into business as well as achieving resolutions.
Respond effectively to RFQs / related inputs.
Supervising station’s air freight team and implementing instructions received directly through HOD concerning air freight management, organization operating system, KPIs, MLW online training courses, Do's & Don'ts concerning new customers, commodities, and different documentation etc.
All actions to be performed in accordance with company policy, applicable rules & regulations and local laws. Skills, Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience at an established freight forwarding company.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have their proven managerial experience at an established freight forwarding company.
Master’s degree preferably in related field from reputable institution.
Strategic thinker with analytical skills, high achievement drive and ability of taking initiative
Must have good management, interpersonal and communication skills & high level of tolerance
Strong command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
