Sales Manager Sales
As a Vestas Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and materializing business opportunities for the biggest wind energy multinational company in the world, contributing to its ambitious growth plans in the Asia Pacific region.
You will be at the frontline on the market, engaging with an international customer base and leading a team of experts to deliver a winning value proposition and secure Vestas order intake in selected Asian markets.
This is a strategic position with great management exposure, high impact on the business and ability to drive the company success in some of the most promising wind energy markets in Asia.
Grow and build Sales pipeline in selected Asian markets
Establish solid customer relationships and build trust, understand customer business case and develop compelling value proposition (Account Management)
Manage and drive business opportunities from prospects identification, tendering, deal optimization, to negotiation and closure of wind farm supply and service contracts.
Coordinate and manage the internal cross-functional experts to drive the project team towards success (Bid Management)
Lead contractual negotiations and close the deals
Contribute in the development of Vestas commercial strategy
Develop relationship with key local and international stakeholders to promote Vestas position on the market
Strong educational background within a relevant business, finance or engineering degree at Master level
Fluency in English
5+ years’ experience in the Asian power generation sector (preferably in the renewable energy sector) with exposure to commercial role
Experience in deal origination, project development / financing and commercial project management are a plus
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver results under challenging conditions
Ability to influence internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities
Structured, organized and able to communicate clearly and concisely
Strong team spirit combined with leadership skills
Ability to work under time pressure and willingness to go the extra mile
