Job Purpose

The Assistant manager Financial Reporting would be responsible for the monthly submissions of management reporting pack with in the defined timelines of the corporate reporting team, quarterly preparation of financial information for submissions to the board of directors & local regulatory authorities, responsibility of the governance side relating to R2R department and to be in a co-ordinating role for the periodic audits.

Education, Experience & Skills

Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 1 to 2 years of post qualification experience

ACCA with 5 to 6 years of post qualification experience.

Strong stakeholder management skills

Strong communication skills

Understanding of R2R function

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and provide timely and accurate financial information to enable sound and well informed business decisions.

Submission of monthly group packages within the timelines, maintain accounting records in line with Statutory and IFRS requirement and ensure timely submission of quarterly financial statements to Board of Directors / Shareholders.

Co-ordination with internal and external auditors in laisoning with other key stakeholders, arrangement of meetings and other associated activities relating to audit fieldwork.

Preparing monthly actuals analysis and commentaries and flagging anamolies to Manager R2R

Be a compliance champion for the department and supporting Manager R2R with the internal control compliance framework requirements

Assist Manager R2R in monthly review of schedules relating to different functions of shared services, along with preparation of brief commentaries on each FS line items.

Assist Manager R2R in the preparation of departmental SOPs, including ensure compliance adding new clauses in SOPs that could add value to the overall associated processes.

Monthly review of BPR reports along with Manager R2R for timely identification of any discrepancies.

Monthly preparation of bank reconciliations and liason with different ICSS departments to close reconciling items
