Cayenta is looking for a Conversion Analyst to join our dynamic Technical Consulting team. The role is to work with technical professionals to perform data conversions from legacy systems to Cayenta's CIS system.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing a plan and documents for the data conversion
Develop, support and review the mappings of the legacy database to Cayenta CIS database. Perform scripts for the validation of the mapping specs, where required
Develop procedures and scripts for transform and load of extracted data from the legacy server to Cayenta CIS Database
Analyze data and prepare statistics for extracted data in each package
Develop SQL Scripts for the remediation of legacy data that do not comply with the data rules and formats
Develop SQL procedures for logging data corrections
Develop SQL scripts for obfuscation of sensitive data
Develop SQL scripts for extraction of legacy data in text format
Deploy Cayenta CIS software and related products
Perform other tasks related to the data migration, as defined by the team lead and the project management
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Computer Science, or Diploma Computer Technology, or combination of experience and education
8 to 10 years of the ETL experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services is a must
Experience with Scripting (Visual Studio, Python, Perl, PowerShell, ansible etc.)
Excellent knowledge and experience with writing and tuning complex SQL
Experience with basic DBA tasks for SQL Server and Oracle databases
Experience with reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI
Experience with Excel
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environment
Good communication and customer skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to details
Work shift : 06pm PKT - 03am PKT
Nice to have skills
Oracle and SQL Server database administration skills
Knowledge of cloud computing
Experience with monitoring tools
Experience with Actian Integration products
