We offer you a position where as a Business Manager for Cath Lab products, you will demonstrate quality in all actions; train and educate the sales team, be close to customer on proper use of the Medtronic products and technologies and to give them best in class service.

Cath Lab producs include Cardiac Ablation Solutions, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Cardiovascular Diag&Service, Coronary&Renal Denervation.

The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, talent development, diversity and inclusion, communication business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of employees.

Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports, but may involve direct sales participation as appropriate.

For this role, you will be expected to be located in Karachi, Pakistan ; a part of TWAL (Turkey, West Asia, Levant) Region and manage a team of 10 across all Pakistan.

A Day in Life

  • We offer you a position where you can demonstrate your managerial and commercial skills within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives. You will;
  • Manage team by setting smart targets, monitoring progress, coaching / identifying development needs and actions, contributing to the Career Development / Performance Management Process.
  • Directly contribute to the attainment of financial and operational goals within the Operating Unit (active commercial teams) or region in support of the company's overall financial and strategic objectives.
  • Establish budgets, short- and long-range objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success.
  • Ensure sales strategies are aligned to Operating Unit strategies and that support to the field is in place.
  • Oversee new product / market introductions, sales training programs, key surgeons / key account visit and attendance at key industry congresses and meetings.
  • Provide strategy and direction for ongoing business development, implementation of marketing plans, development of sales and market development objectives and tools, and growth of the business for the region.
  • Maintain long-range sales and marketing plans, continuously optimize and improve return on sales and marketing investments.
  • Enforce pricing governance to ensure profitability in line with company targets and ensure compliance with regulatory / legal requirements, BCS and operating policies.
  • Manage distributors relationships and performance, continuously monitor and optimize inventory management / levels.
  • Provide timely reports.
  • Monitor adverse events of company products and if any, inform them in a timely manner in accordance with the procedure.
  • Must Haves

  • Healthcare related (scientific or engineering) degree.
  • 10+ years professional experience in a business function (Sales, Marketing, Business / Market Development) with 5-10+ years in Healthcare / Medical Devices / Pharma.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally with heterogenous sales and marketing teams.
  • Specific knowledge of Cath Lab products.
  • A leadership personality who enables strategic direction, collaborates well across a matrix structure, recruits and manages talent, embraces and promotes transformational change, considers impact on patient and customer, sets team expectations and influences accountability.
  • Strong grasp of company’s business strategy and future growth plans for their area of responsibility
  • Able to establish direct sales and operational plans with direct impact on function results, including target revenue, resource allocation, expenditures and future business opportunities.
  • Able to do execution and implementation of a number of significant business transactions or projects.
  • Able to quantify financial impact of decisions and identifies key factors when making recommendations
  • Construction of strong profit, Gross Margin, ROI, and cost / benefit analyses.
  • Able to effectively manage the country BU budget to provide business growth and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of regional and local market dynamics, market insights, trends and competitive environment and provide related data to internal parties.
  • Identification in advance major changes in regional and local marketplace pertaining to distribution, pricing, promotion, regulation, regionalization etc.
  • Intimate insight into company’s value offerings and how they meet the market and customer needs.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations which enables to communicate fluently in English.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time
