We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and experience in Cath Labs to be able to maintain safety and high standards.
Communicates continuously with physician about patient condition. Assists physician during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Operates all equipment safely and correctly. Maintains Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) levels.
As post holder your duties would include but are not limited to the following :
Delivers quality service and positive interaction with our customers while performing the assigned tasks
Assumes care for physical needs of the patient during examinations and procedures
Electric, Temperature, Humidity, Safety, Quality control tests of all Cath related Equipment
Operates imaging equipment, scrubs and assists physicians in the detection and localization of patient anatomy during diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Cath lab
Provides protection to patients, family members and self in accordance with radiation safety standards
Observes patient and equipment during procedures, documents patient reactions or problems on requisitions and reports immediately to supervisor
Records key events occurring during the procedures and enters procedures and supplies via HMIS, inventory control, Stocks, replacement of consumed supplies.
Monitor and records ECG and pressure waveforms during the procedure
Assists physician in detection and localization of patient anatomy utilizing proper positioning and establishment of appropriate technical factors and sterile technique
Rotates and participates "on Call" as per rota for Primary PCI 24 / 7 with other team members
Assists in additional coverage when applicable
Supervise, Assist with the care and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Cleans assigned area and maintains stock supply through inventory control all disposables and on shelf stents, balloons wires, catheters, sheaths etc
Demonstrates the ability to handle emergency situations during high risk procedures
CD preparation and Labelling for Patient, Cath report and CD handing over to patient and Family
Demonstrates the ability to work as a team member, assist consultants and assist with interpretation of data collected
To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service and consistently demonstrate values of people focused, dedication & excellence
Undertake a range of radiographic duties in the Cath Lab as Radiation protection officer
To be aware of and comply with current legislation relating to Health and Safety and Radiation Protection legislation.
Participate in initiatives to effect improvements in the area
Completes in-services and returns in a timely fashion and has not missed any mandatory in-services
Taking part in the cardiac emergency on call service on an internal rotation, which includes weekend and holiday working as per rota
Assists in Procedures and Performs other job related duties as assigned as deemed necessary by consultant
Academic Qualification : Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging Technology, Biophysics, Health Science or related fields or Intermediate and having Diploma in Cardiology Technician through an Accredited Institution
Experience : 4 5 years of progressive Cath Laboratory work experience in a Hospital / Healthcare Facility
Good communication skills verbal & written

Salary Range : (45,000 to 55,000) Per Month.
