Marketing & Brand Director - Aim of the Role

To be responsible for all aspects of the marketing function across all Iconic Luxury Hotels including CRO Management, Creative Briefs and Design, Team Management and PR strategy whilst ensuring that all communication internally and externally is on brand and is aligned to the ILH brand values and guidelines.

This role is based in central London.

Marketing & Brand Director - Responsibilities

  • Running the Marketing & PR function throughout the entire portfolio
  • Ownership of digital strategy and driving through leadership
  • Responsible for Social media management and strategy in conjunction with PR
  • Responsible for the CRM management and strategy
  • Driving the email marketing campaigns through marketing cloud
  • Attending industry & networking events, identifying opportunities for the Executive team
  • To be creative in your approach and to be able to think outside of the box in order to deliver the brief whilst questioning the brand at all times
  • To support the Head of PR and attend monthly PR meetings to agree the 90 day goals
  • To take full responsibility for the Marketing at the hotels including print, digital and strategy
  • To write and deliver the marketing plan for the hotels and present to the Commercial Director
  • To manage all the marketing software in line with company standards
  • To attend the weekly forecast meeting
  • To hold monthly meetings with key Head of Departments to deliver the marketing plan
  • To drive the monthly marketing and PR calendar and deliver the plan
  • To manage the external marketing and PR partnerships and drive forward
  • To be responsible for updating of all external websites to ensure that offers and details are up to date
  • To be able to use the appropriate software in order to create in house literature, adverts and other promotional material
  • To be responsible for delivering the quarterly newsletter and its content
  • To constantly seek new alternatives to stay ahead of the competitor set
  • To drive the hotels marketing content through video and photography
  • To support the Events Managers to build a strong calendar of events incorporating special events, key demand calendar events and hotel demand dates
  • To deliver world class excellence at all times through marketing and PR and never compromise the brand
  • Our ideal candidate will have substanstial experience in a the luxury hotel market and a thorough understanding of both strategic and commercial objectives, while being confident in taking commercial accountability for planning, organising and directing of the Marketing and Brand activities.
