Job Purpose :

The purpose of the job is to ensure the uninterrupted supply of products to the market from the specified production Value Stream at the optimum cost through coordination with buyers, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and Finance while maintaining all KPIs.

Educational Requirement :

Minimum Level of Education : MBA Supply Chain Management or similar

Area of Specialization : End to end Supply Chain

Experience Requirement :

Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required : 2-3 Years

Why is this level of Experience Required : To be able to plan and execute production schedules as per demand using ERP systems while ensuring compliance to all guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Prepare Monthly & Weekly production schedule for the specified value stream.
  • Timely release of Process Orders for production according to weekly production schedule.
  • Coordinate with buyers and warehouse for availability of materials for the scheduled production.
  • Prepare and monitor planning KPIs (CTP & CTV).
  • Coordinate with Maintenance team for scheduling preventive maintenance plans and its timely execution.
  • Coordinate with Quality for release of RM, PM, & FG to ensure timely production and supply
  • Represent scheduling in the tier meetings for resolution of day to day issues
  • Monitor capacity utilization and resource planning for better plant recoveries.
  • Responsible for long term and short-term production plan for Jamshoro to utilize optimal level of resources in accordance to the OFM and SRM process.
