We are looking for a progressive Legal Associate to join our Lahore team within our Legal Department.

As Legal Associate at CureMD, you shall be a part of the whip-smart group of in-house lawyers, and working on the most intriguing legal affairs, as our groundbreaking technological innovations require creative and proactive legal guidance.

The projects and cases you take on will challenge you to think big and differently. The ideal candidate will be collaborative ready to partner in initiatives that influence all aspects of the business and work with employees from all over the company.

As an integrated part of the team, you will proactively assess legal risks and advise on products that will not only move information into the 21st century but drive information law forward as well.

  • L.L.B., L.L.M. or J.D. degree
  • 2+ years of transaction / corporate experience.
  • 1 year of experience with litigation support within a law firm or a litigation support vendor is preferred
  • Exceptionally tech-savvy.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Professional work ethic and integrity.
  • Sound judgment and analytical thinking.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Track record of drafting, reviewing and revising agreements.
  • Competent in legal research.
  • Highly proactive with a learning aptitude.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matter.
  • Responsibilities

  • Advise management, business clients and legal teams across various aspects of laws of Pakistan and the United States, including the risks associated with contentious matters.
  • Give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
  • Collaborate with management to discuss and develop strategies for addressing legal concerns and policies.
  • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
  • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations and apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust.
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
  • Interpret laws, rulings and regulations within the industry.
  • Develop expertise in a range of CureMD products and build strong relationships with business clients and legal colleagues in our offices.
