Job KeyTasks & Responsibilities :
Developingcategory strategies and category strategic plans, including initiative plans,for Market Categories, in coordination with the Global Category Manager / s andthe respective internal stakeholders.
Conductingstrategic sourcing initiatives, including fact-based negotiations (supplier andindustry analysis. benchmarks, cost structure analysis) for all managedcategories within the Market portfolio and ensuring process compliance and highlevels of customer satisfaction.
Definingsupplier management strategy, aligning it with the Global Category Managementand the relevant stakeholders, and executing strategic supplier relationshipmanagement with key suppliers.
aligning P2P strategy with the relevant Category Managers toensure cross-market unit standardization.
Identifyingsupplier risk areas and quantifying risk exposure for the relevant categories,within the Market and executing risk mitigation actions.
TheCategory Manager is accountable for the direct management and cost savingstarget achievement for the relevant Market Category.
Interpretinginternal and external business challenges and recommends best practices toimprove processes and performance and solves complex problems based onsophisticated analytical thinking and root cause analysis.
Havingin-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and understanding howrelevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
TakingResponsibility for the sourcing of materials, products or services under thespecified Market Category or product area, by creating an excellent supplierbase with the best terms and conditions, in coordination with the Market UnitProcurement and the other relevant stakeholders.
Managingthe preparation of supplier contracts in coordination with the relevantstakeholders including but not limited to : Market Unit Procurement Management,Contract Management, Customer Team, Legal and Compliance, Finance, ServicesBusiness Line and Global Procurement, according to the applicable ApprovalAuthority Matrix and Devolution of Authority for securing the requiredapprovals.
Ensuringthat activities meet all relevant regulations and legal requirements includingbut not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Coordinatingwith the Market Unit Procurement Head and the Regional Procurement Managers, toalign the strategy and execution approach.
Coordinatingwith Market Unit Procurement Head and the Regional Procurement Managers, regardingthe frame agreements renegotiation with the relevant suppliers.
Drivingthe relationship with Services suppliers / partners and with GS / other BGs forprocurement related topics.
Drivingsuccess by contributing to the bottom and top line for Nokia.
ExecutingGlobal Services and other Business Groups Procurement synergy savings.
Aligningwith the Market Unit Procurement Head and the Regional Procurement Managers, toprovide input and contributes to respective Category Management on supplierperformance and developing the Category Strategy.
ExecuteMarket Categories strategy and e2e Supplier Base Management process for allProcurement suppliers according to compliance processes.

Involvingwith the Market Unit Procurement Head and the Regional Procurement Managers andcontribute, in managing the source-to-contract process (RFP floating, bidreceipt, tender and offers evaluation in collaboration with the relevantstakeholders, award and post-award activities) for the related projects.
Overseeingand guiding the efficient alignment of business requirements and Procurementpriorities and activities and cooperate with other stakeholders to resolve anycross-functional conflicts.
Developingand implementing the contingency plans to prevent potential shortcomings ofsupplier base or goods / services disruptions.
Conductingbusiness review meetings with key stakeholders and suppliers to assess risk,review future strategies, and identify potential cost improvementopportunities.
Monitorsmarket trends on prices of goods and continuously explore possibilities of morecompetitive prices from suppliers.
Impact isshort term, mid-term and long-term and typically cross-functional,cross-departmental and can be single or multi-country geographic in scopethrough management of resources.
