Job Purpose and Impact
The Head of Supply Chain & Operations will lead and provide direction to supervisors and analysts, overseeing all day-to-day business operation activities across the country.
We seek a professional to design, propose and implement logistic and supply chain strategies, operational guidelines, and procedures to meet requirements supporting short- and long-term business needs.
Supervise Cargill Pakistan’s business / supply chain operations and sites across the country (including oil tank terminal, grains handling terminal, warehouses, and labs), and ensure implementation of current & long-term goals.
Coordinate closely with the regional BOSC (Business Operations Supply Chain) team to ensure Cargill’s global standards of performance, safety, HSE, FSQR and cost-efficiency are being met.
Reconcile and review supply and demand calculations and evaluate moderately complex analyses of data.
Collaborate with our team to handle key contacts within Cargill Commercial team & customers, and liaison with shipping companies, custom agents, trucking companies, customs, port authorities, etc.
to ensure business and regulatory requirements are met.
Participate in forecasting, demand, and allocation planning for various site operations.
Lead the selection, negotiation, and finalization process of agreements with suppliers & customers, including execution & maintenance of Service Level Agreements.
Provide general oversight, guidance to ensure integration of multiple areas in the Cargill supply chain such as customer service, supply chain planning, strategic sourcing / procurement, plant operations, and transportation and logistics.
Participate as a steering committee member for new projects, initiatives, and contribute to project management strategies.
Lead and develop a team and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of ten years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
Four years of supervisory experience
Ten years of experience, with at least five years in supply and inventory planning
