Position Title : Usability / UX Specialist

Department : Customer Operations

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements and feature requests in collaboration with local & global stakeholders including product managers, technology specialists, Delivery Hero global squads etc
  • Plan & execute user research through A / B testing, focus groups etc using design thinking techniques to solve business problems while driving customer engagement
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, inclusive design etc)
  • Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate app / web functions / features that require customer testing
  • Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
  • Customer journey mapping to identify journey pain points and app / web health check
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to understand the hidden customer sentiments while drawing correlation between different data points to keep the bigger picture in context;
  • ultimately changing the app / web design to make it more customer friendly

  • Have a knack for understanding how people interact with technology, and excel at designing more accessible products in the digital space
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in computer science / computer engineering.
  • 2- 3 years of UI / UX of digital products & services
  • A portfolio of professional UI / UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
  • Hands on experience of tools such as InVision, Visio, Sketch, Proto.io, Figma, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrate etc
  • Innovative, proactive and customer focused with a solid understanding of usability and Human Centered Design principles
  • Work well in a start-up environment and pressure situations
  • Behavioral psychology education will be a plus
  • Proficient in oral & written English, having the ability to communicate in a concise manner
  • Keenness towards taking on additional assignments while efficiently applying time management skills for prioritization
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce business processes
