Main Responsibilities; Claims Management for all customers;
Monitor the GRNs of the customer invoices to ensure on time collections.
Daily cash application for customers at outlet level.
Reviewing credit exposure and advise Head of Finance for credit limit adjustments.
Liaise with customer Accounts dept to sort out disputes if any.
Customer VAT challan follow up to adjust short payment.
Monitor DSO performance of the customers and advise appropriate action to improve DSO where necessary.
Tax & Statutory Support;
Responsible for Tax, Legal & Statutory support.
SPOC of Upfield with EY, PwC & KPMG
Responsible for Tax working and payments that includes WHT, VAT & Advance Income Tax etc on a monthly basis.
Maintenance of correct vendor Tax codes.
Completion of timely audits for both Principal & MSO.
Manage P2P Operational Challenges.
Act as local liaison to sort out P2P challenges faced by functions & vendors.
Key contact person with Tax consultants to resolve tax matters.
Follow-up for VAT Challans with Customers & vendors.
Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent; MA / ACCA / CA(Part qualified) preferably
Minimum 2 to 4 years of related experience
Very strong academic record and excellent command in English
Excellent understanding of financial metrics and accounting and financial processes
Very strong track record of delivery in previous Finance roles
Very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines, great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical bias, Microsoft Excel skills and PowerPoint capability
