Position Title : Strategy and Transformation Specialist - Projects.

Grade : This is a job grade 2B position.

Location : This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Employment Type : This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Team : This role is a part of the Corporate Strategy & Transformations department which falls under the Finance Division.

You will have a manager in the immediate team and four colleagues in the larger Corporate Strategy & Transformations team.

Your Career Path : Based on your planned exposure and growth initiatives, you can grow within the Strategy & Transformation team of the Finance Division or within other divisions including Commercial, and Digital.

Your Impactful Goals :

  • Support on different projects including network sharing, commercial and other business-related projects
  • Drive some enterprise-level projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively with Technology, Commercial, Digital, Finance, Regulatory, Legal and other stakeholders
  • Strategic analysis and project management of various projects
  • Work on financial models and business cases of various projects
  • Support team in the annual strategy process and transformation-related activities
  • Work on presentations and reports for senior management
  • Suggest agile approaches for a solution to problems at hand and simplifying the existing processes
  • Responsible for department’s share point management and other PMO related activities
  • Researching and sharing the latest telco related trends and strategic insights with senior stakeholders and helping the department with innovative ideas and solutions
  • Your Typical day at work

  • You will attend team meetings and gather requirements / information for initiatives / tasks
  • You will effectively liaise with different departments within the company
  • You will work on projects and research on strategic insights and telecom trends
  • You will engage with senior-level stakeholders for projects and other regular strategy related updates
  • You will evaluate the financial aspects of strategic projects and validate numbers / facts
  • You will maintain and update the department’s share point on a regular basis
  • You will organize meetings, coordinate and assemble key projects’ details and ensuring timely achievement of milestones
  • You will prepare and give effective presentations
  • You will effectively manage stakeholders and follow up where required
  • You will meet time-sensitive deadlines and ensure the confidentiality of the information
  • You will monitor strategic initiatives for effective reporting
  • Qualification :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Telecom Engineering or MBA in a relevant field
  • A certification in Project Management will be preferred
  • Experience :

  • Experience in strategy formulation, digital transformation, and project management
  • Experience in research-based analysis, business case preparation, and operational excellence
  • Experience of managing stakeholders within local and group units
  • Experience of working in finance and / or commercial / digital areas is a plus
  • Working knowledge of network, commercial, digital, and business in a telco environment
  • Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas

  • High-Level Proficiency in MS Office specially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Knowledge in service design methodology & agile way of work
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, analytical, communication skills
  • Knowledge of telecom network and basic technical areas including network sharing
  • Knowledge of key commercial, digital, and business areas
  • Able to prepare impactful PowerPoint Presentations
  • Knowledge about share point
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage time effectively, to multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews their work carefully and takes pride in a quality product
  • Self -starter with the ability to work independently and continuously improve
