Job Description :

Finance and Accounting

Assist in managing day to day financial operations; maintain & implement financial controls and systems to ensure that all financial transactions are properly & accurately recorded and are consistent with the approved policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the establishment and implementation of the integrated internal control framework, in coordination with the Management, internal and external auditors;
  • Assist in the development of appropriate accounting policy framework and accounting system including reporting requirements, in accordance with all requirements under Pakistan regulation and in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

    Financial and Management Reporting

    provide assistance for the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for Management, Board of Directors, Shareholders and other stakeholders

    External and Internal Auditor Liaison :

    Liaise closely as the main contact point with the External and Internal Auditors and ensure clean audit reports via proactively managing audit points for resolution

    Regulatory & Tax Management :

  • Engage with the Authorised Dealer appointed by the Company to procure necessary approvals to make remittances and payments as required by the Company;
  • Assist in tax liabilities management of the Company and to ensure compliance with the applicable tax laws and regulations;
  • Knowledge of SECP regulations with regards to NBFC

    Bank Operations :

    Knowledge of SBP FE Manual with regard to Remittances. Knowledge and working experience in dealing with Foreign remittance through SBP and related approval modalities.

    Job Requirements :

  • Qualified ACCA
  • Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in financial due diligence and risk management
  • Minimum 7 years + relevant experience in Financial Industry
  • Good exposure to regulations of Financial & NBFC sector; application of IFRS 9
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; good problem solving abilities
  • MS Office, Advance Excel, Accounting software
