The Role :
As Manager Ethics & Compliance you will get an opportunity to contribute towards establishing the right culture and environment of telecom company and add value by helping the employees, management and the Board of Directors deliver in Responsible manner.
Your Impactful goals will include :
To Support Ethics & Compliance Team , management of the BU and the Board of Directors in the implementation and operation of the Compliance Programme.
Provide advice, counsel and recommendations as well as give input to business decisions and support ECO to grant approvals when specifically mandated in the Group Policies / Manuals.
Your Typical day at work :
Undertake A-C monitoring activities on a quarterly basis to ensure organizational compliance with AC policy requirements
Run the annual Governance Work Program (GWP) cycle in the organization from informing local policy owners to final sign off by Local CEO
Assist the E&C manager in developing training content which will be disseminated throughout the year
Assist the E&C manager in developing relevant IEC material to be disseminated each year
Ensure that 100% of employee base signs off on TP’s code of conduct each year
Conduct specialized training for each department within the organization to apprise employees of compliance related risks
Conduct specialized training for high risk and important business partners
Running the Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) process in the organization from to ensure all business partners are screened in terms of their practices, organization setup, reputation and the scope of work which TP is agreeing with them
Maintain Telenor Pakistan’s due diligence platform by ensuring that information & documentation for each individual business partner is added to the system
Review the IDD process for each BP to ensure that BPs are provided with an accurate risk rating
Organizing IDD forums when relevant for medium and high risk business partners and ensure that mitigating actions are followed up on
Developing and presenting bi-annual / annual Compliance reports and data to the BoD, local management, Compliance Committee and Group Compliance
Overseeing the management of Ethics & Compliance Case Management System (Navex) as per Group Compliance’s requirements
Assessment and review of incoming investigation reports to form Compliance recommendations. This includes further fact-finding and probing from the investigator where required
Implementation of finalized Compliance recommendations and disciplinary sanctions with relevant stakeholders. This also includes taking up process improvement, development and strengthening of controls with relevant units
Regular follow up from relevant stakeholders on completion of agreed mitigation actions
Assisting the internal stakeholders including the top management with an independent view on important issues with Compliance repercussions and general queries related to anti- corruption and other policy related matters.

What we’re looking for?
Basic Qualifications :
Legal or Audit qualifications are required with minimum bachelors degree. Masters in Business / Law / CCEP-I, LPEC, CFE, or any other E&C certification will be added advantage.
Work experience :
Minimum 6 years in total experience with preference in fields of Risk Management, Conducting Due Diligence and reporting.
Relevant work experience in Legal, Regulatory, Anti-Corruption, Ethics & Compliance, Internal Audit, handling of Compliance Incidents, facilitation of trainings
Knowledge Areas :
