Grade : This is a grade 2 position. Location : This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Role As Assistant Manager / Sr.
Executive iVAS, you will have the opportunity to manage and optimize VAS portfolio including but not limited to : Smart Tunes, Emergency load, Missed Call Alerts, and Smart Share.
Your Impactful Goals Will Include
Performing Descriptive analysis, Predictive analysis, and Prescriptive analysis to for key insights on the product and identifying correct product strategy
Responsible for ensuring Completeness, Accuracy and Validity of all data analytics.
Answer business questions raised by stakeholders, including drivers for Users / Revenue, What-If, Cause-Effect (e.g. Impact of Digital on GSM ARPUs, Churn).
Support product managers to source relevant data and analysis from team and systems
Proactively work with various departments including business heads to provide advanced analytics, data modelling methods and insights
Improving customer engagement on Telenor VAS portfolio.
Develop an understanding of how service lifecycle works, rollout of new services and related marketing strategy to keep the services relevant and users engaged.
How will your Typical Day look like :
Performing detailed analysis, segmentation and making business cases for relevant decision making.
Design, Execute and Evaluate business analysis to present clear crisp actionable recommendations (both with GSM , Digital) for growing Digital (portfolio / product) base, revenues and experiences.
Partner with Product and BI teams for managing Ad hoc, Operational and Strategic business reporting, along with the team.
Well versed in conversing with technical and business teams alike, with objective analysis & reporting, identifying and removing any roadblocks.
Optimize and improve existing product portfolio by doing and presenting relevant analysis for key insights on the product and identifying correct product strategy.
Develop engagement strategy around VAS portfolio with target to increase customer usage and value from the service.
Conduct market research, SWOT analysis on industry offering, identify key verticals and propose relevant products
Plan, Execute and Manage marketing mix for assigned product portfolio.
Co-ordinate with all internal stakeholders during the product development and launch process
Communicate relevant information to relevant stakeholders at every stage of the product life cycle
Ensure usability & customer centricity in existing & proposed solutions and products to make services simple and effective
Develop revenue and capacity forecasts for target & growth monitoring
Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks of assigned portfolio with dashboard and summary reports.

Education What we're looking for :
Bachelor’s degree with Specialization in Business Administration / Commerce / Marketing / Computer Sciences / Telecom
Experience from Telecom industry preferred with relevant experience of service and campaign launches, lifecycle management and deep understanding of products and platforms used in operator ecosystem.
At least 4 years of experience in Data analytics role, in analysis & performance capacity in a Telecom operator.
Should have working experience in business performance reporting and analysis / insights.
Preferable to have experience of Digital apps / web portfolio.
Working knowledge of SQL, Data analytics and Visualization tools to deliver and upgrade analytics frameworks. This includes both GSM and Digital products.
Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas
Should be able to analyze, understand and recommend solutions to complex problems (product / business.)
Should have strong quantitative & analytical skills including data extraction, method and interpreting results into actionable insights.
Ability to handle working under tight deadlines without compromising on data analytics quality and should know importance of prioritization.
Sufficient telecom business knowledge and preferably of digital business.
Extremely good communication and presentation skills.
Great at stakeholder management, both on support and customer side.
Be a strong team player and knows how to utilize the org network / stakeholders
Proven record of successful execution of marketing campaigns for VAS or other products; should be able to present post-campaign analysis
Excellent forecasting skills
Proficient in productivity tools specially MS Excel. My SQL
