The role will add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts.
You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management and the leadership team.
An excellent Commercial Director has an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.
The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
This role will be reporting to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities :
Acquisition of restaurants Sales
Develop a strong commercial team at a city and regional level
Responsible for bringing all category of restaurants on board.
Need to develop strategies, training and processes to enable the commercial team to achieve its goals
Develop a strong KPI framework to track performance of the commercial team
Management of top accounts and general accounts ACM / PCC
Develop a strong account management team at city and regional level
Responsible for managing relationships with all key brands across the country
Responsible for rolling out growth strategies along with the marketing team
Responsible for managing special projects with the existing restaurant base
Need to develop strategies, training and processes to enable the account management team to achieve its goals.
Leading special projects
Responsible for managing projects which achieve higher revenue for the company or increase strategic depth with the stakeholders
Managing Sales Operations (QA, Sales Analyst and Lead Generation)
Managing Lead Generation
Analytical analysis of all commercial activities Nationwide. Enabling visibility of data which enables relevant stakeholders to take necessary actions.
Ensuring Quality for each of the contract signed by the commercial team
Expansion into new cities
Identification of potential in new cities to launch
Recruiting of team to manage and launch the city
Acquisition of Corporate Brands
Identification of potential corporate clients.
Provide them with foodpanda corporate food platform to cater to their requirements
Vendor On-boarding and Content
Define processes to optimize process for vendor on-boarding and ensure smooth on-boarding of new vendors
Ensure that all issues of existing vendors are resolved within a timely manner
The direct management of vendor on-boarding and content will be managed by the operations team and Commercial Director will be the key stakeholders for Ops team to ensure that the objective
Broad Responsibilities :
Develop and implement commercial strategies with the aim to accelerate growth according to company goals and objectives
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
Build and retain profitable partnerships with chief stakeholders
Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Assist in setting financial targets, budget development and monitoring
The candidate will be responsible for building KPI format to evaluate the performance for all commercial teams.
The candidate will be responsible to ensure performance.
Need to work with counter parts to align and execute on topics which drive efficiency throughout the organization creating greater value for the stakeholders.
Should have the ability to manage big teams
Social character with positive attitude towards new challenges
Proven experience as Commercial Director or other similar or relevant roles
Proven experience in sales and / or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial / budgeting processes
Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure
Fluency in English is a must
