About the job :
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for the daily coordination, improvement and execution of all food manufacturing operations;
overseeing production, planning, quality control and maintenance for vendors operating in Panda Kitchens.
Design, develop and implement kitchen safety standards and COVID safety protocols as per local food and government authorities’ policies
Ensure kitchen safety through compliance of safety standards as issued by company safety policy
Ensure kitchen operations as per company’s KPIs on offline hours, food and delivery quality.
Coach vendors and achieve compliance for product quality, food safety, packaging, delivery and food defense as issued by the QC
Department while maintaining overall kitchen efficiency
Manage materials, packaging and raw materials such that all materials are available to meet scheduling requirements on a timely basis by working closely with vendors’ purchasing and inventory manager
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, or the quality system and recommend or provide solutions to correct any deficiencies
Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
Work closely with Head of Kitchens and Site Supervisors to ensure compliance and understanding of profit and loss of kitchen operations and utilities
Supplement, track, and be held accountable to all applicable KPIs
Foster an environment that embraces continuous process improvement of the facility, processes and personnel
Strive for a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills. Coordinate with Vendors and
Supervisors / Line Leads to ensure daily KPI reviews are conducted, reflecting accurate goals and performance.
Manage cost, fixed and variable labor, quality, efficiency, reliability, scrap, rework, energy, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
Bachelors Degree in relevant field with at least 4 years of experience of working in a restaurant, restaurant brand, food industry and / or on the food service provider side
Experience of running multiple restaurant outlets
A task-master; get things done on time to support overall frictionless execution
Ability to identify key metrics of success, digest complex data sets, and build data-driven action plans to respond to market conditions
Proven local knowledge of the Pakistan Market
Strong leadership and communication skills, able to work independently and are reliable
Well versed with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel / Google equivalents
Bonus Points If You Have :
Experience in cloud kitchen operations
Experience in virtual brand creation and implementation
Experience as a sous chef or above
Established contacts in the F&B industry (contractors, equipment suppliers, kitchen staff, etc)
