Your Responsibilities : Job Purpose :

Job Purpose :

  • To promote GSK brands in line with GSK Values through effective engagement with Health Care Professionals in an assigned territory enabling patients do more, feel better and live longer.
  • Drive business impact in an assigned territory through delivery of defined lead KPIs resulting in market beating growth and strong contribution to overall Rep+2 targets
  • Core Responsibilities :

  • Implement commercial brand strategies in a defined territory and in line with GSK values and BU priorities
  • Promote designated GSK brands through a fair and balanced scientific dialogue with health care professionals in an assigned territory
  • Gain excellence in product and disease knowledge to execute patient focused detailing and be recognized as a trusted advisor to HCPs
  • Conduct regular prospecting of HCPs / Hospitals / Pharmacies in assigned territory
  • Conduct segmentation and targeting of HCPs as per communicated brand strategy
  • Gather feedback from pharmacies regarding HCP prescribing habits and build call objectives accordingly
  • Develop and track robust business plans to analyze territory potential and identify untapped business opportunities / areas of improvement
  • Monitor product performance regularly against external benchmarks and execute action plans as per priorities identified in business plans
  • Conduct Face to Face promotional meetings in line with GSK values to drive disease and product awareness
  • Drive engagement with HCPs through digital channels such as emails, webinars and GSK portal
  • Have sound understanding of GSK systems and tools for effective performance management
  • Stay aware of latest developments in pharmaceutical industry and contribute insights for development of future brand strategy
  • Establish strong relationships with KEEs and scientific societies as external face of GSK
  • Maintain strong coordination with other internal stakeholders such as Medical, Marketing and CTC and Commercial Excellence
  • Ensure all actions are governed by GSK Values, Code of Conduct, Expectations and complete all mandatory training courses within stipulated timelines
  • Scope :

  • Scope of this position is limited to an assigned territory while collaborating among other team members and sharing knowledge and contribute efforts towards aligned business plans.
  • Accountability :

  • Ensure Patient Focused Scientific Selling with HCPs as per defined selling framework
  • Meet GSK defined standards of coverage, efficiency, effectiveness and digital KPIs
  • Drive business impact with market beating growth and strong contribution to overall Rep+2 targets
  • Conduct regular in depth analysis of product performance against external benchmarks
  • Promotion of GSK products as per communicated brand strategy and priorities
  • Achieve excellence in GSK standards of disease and product knowledge
  • Conduct segmentation and targeting of HCPs as per defined brand strategy
  • Gather insights from pharmacies regarding HCP behaviors and develop commercially oriented call objectives
  • Develop, agree and implement area business plan, prioritizing key action plan to maximize business impact
  • Conduct Face to Face promotional meetings in line with promotional code
  • Drive engagement through usage of digital channels as per defined GSK standard
  • Monitor stock levels at pharmacy level and flag stock outs / coverage issues through defined channels
  • Demonstrate proficiency on knowledge, patient focused dialogue and selling skills through in-house applications such as Role Play
  • Annual certification with full alignment to all related SOPs, policies and local regulations
  • Basic qualifications :

  • Qualification : Must be a graduate;
  • Medical Science Graduate - B Pharmacy / Pharm D will be preferred, business graduates interested in sales may also apply

    Experience : At least 1 year of sales experience
