The Location : Islamabad, PK

Role Overview :

This role requires you to be at the forefront of all strategic initiatives undertaken by SPGMI’s Commercial operating centers.

This will include, but not limited to, Desktop and Data Management Solutions Operations, Account Management, Customer Success, Commercial Development, Enablement, Marketing, and Education.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives.

The Team :

As a member of the global Commercial Site Leadership Team , you will be responsible for managing strategic initiatives under the umbrella of Commercial department within the S&P Global Market Intelligence global operating centers.

The Impact :

You will be responsible to help complete multiple individual projects to achieve bigger, overarching goals. You will have an impact on these projects by working directly with the head of Commercial Site Leadership to effectively manage global events and sessions across multiple geographies and time-zones.

Due to the broad global exposure of this role, it can lead to growth within Program Management, Commercial Site Leadership, or any matching role within Commercial.

Responsibilities :

Effectively lead global programs and initiatives to help Commercial Site Leadership team support SPGMI’s Commercial and Organizational Strategy

Work closely with and offer project / program management support to individual project leads on the team to ensure timely execution of initiatives, in line with the wider strategy

Design and execute effective reporting and escalation mechanism for the team for transparency

Define and set Program Management best practices, and create repeatable processes for the team

Timely escalation and reporting to Head of Department when as and when required

Schedule and manage local and global meeting and events, collaborating across geographies and time-zones

Manage Head of Department’s calendar

Attend strategic meetings with the Head of Department, take meeting minutes, create action items, and follow-up on those effectively with relevant stakeholders

Own and manage department’s to-do list

Technical Skills :

Project management and reporting tools, e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, Smartsheets, etc.

Presentation tools, e.g. MS Powerpoint, Prezi, Slido, Sway, etc.

Calendaring / Scheduling tools, e.g. MS Outlook Calendar, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.

Experience :

Large-scale 360 degree Program / Project Management demonstrated experience is required

Experience of scheduling meetings / events for large audience is strongly desired

Executive calendar-management experience is a big plus

Experience in diverse stakeholder management, cross-cultural / global exposure, time-zones management, relationship development and management, and conflict management is strongly desired

Education :

Bachelors degree or equivalent, or equal work experience

PMP or related qualification is a plus
