Job Responsibilities :

  • On-going review and analysis of programs, operations, procurement and other procedures to identify gaps and control weaknesses, and to suggest appropriate risk mitigating measures.
  • To devise and ensure the implementation of organizational policies & procedures relating to payment processing, payroll processing, Procurement, banking operations etc.
  • Planning surprise audits to field offices and program sites.
  • Reporting the finding to the Regional Director along with possible solutions.
  • Updating Risk register and risk assessment matrix.
  • Assist & guide HR in complying with Pakistani labour & tax laws.
  • Check and verify asset & inventory records with actual count.
  • Carry out fraud investigations & compliance of internal controls.
  • Attending the notices received from tax authorities.
  • Assisting in obtaining the tax exemptions and tax refunds.
  • Preparation and submission of tax advice & opinion on domestic and international matters.
  • Tax planning for international staff & consultants.
  • Job Specifications :

    Qualification / Experience :

  • For the position of Internal Auditor , MBA / M.Com / CA / ACCA / CMA or degree in any related discipline and must have 4-
  • 5 years’ Internal Auditor & Tax Advisory experience in Non-Governmental Organization is considered necessary.

    Skill / Competencies :

  • Must have strong grip on overall tax matters. He / she would also be responsible for compliance & advisory services covering income tax, sales tax and withholding tax manage the departmental works.
  • Must have up to date knowledge in matters related to, Income tax, Sales tax.
  • Efficiently manage the tax audit process initiated by the tax.
  • Hands on experience in preparation of filing of returns and statements with the tax.
  • Knowledge of Provincial Laws.
  • Ability to travel to different locations / offices.
  • Excellent Writing skills (English), pro-active in communication & information sharing.
  • Computer Skills (use of Microsoft Office specifically Excel for budgeting / planning & PowerPoint for presentations).
