Job Description

Position Purpose The HR Solutions Specialist position sits within our newly transformed HR function and will be part of HR solution bubble supporting the business across a range of HR activities from Hire to Retire (HTR), including recruitment administration, on-

boarding, relocation, leaves of absence and separations, employee data management in the HR system (SHARP)This role will ensure that an HR operation provides the full range of HR solutions services to the business in Pakistan.

Such HR Services include all HR administration services, payroll, and Sharp administration for Full ME, employee relations and compensation and benefits.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible to deliver Hire to Retire processes from offerings till separations.
  • Delivering high-quality service to customers in responding to queries, advising on policies and procedures and managing HR administration processes
  • Supporting line managers in HR processes (absence management, policies, labour relations cases, separations processes, Etc.)
  • Playing an active role in the implementation of HR Projects, both local and regional ones
  • Coordinating Hiring and on-boarding processes due to business needs in compliance with global standards and local legal requirements
  • Managing data gathering to provide accurate and timely instructions to payroll e.g. for local terms and conditions such as overtime, shift allowances, first aid payments, banked hours etc.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for simplification and harmonization of current HR processes
  • Support in the implementation of any core restructuring activities in his site that would impact ER agenda, to ensure smooth implementation of restructuring activities in-
  • line with company standards and values as well as local labor laws.

  • Other tasks connected with personnel administration
  • Responsible for HR record keeping in accordance with corporate policies and local Labour legislation
  • Responsible for compliance and enforcement of the Law on Personal Data Protection
  • Receives request to create requisition & Creates requisition in Taleo
  • Coordinates interview schedules of qualified, external and internal candidates with hiring manager and interview team.
  • Organizes interview logistics including meeting location and distribution of required documents (i.e. resume, requests for candidate information, interview guides, feedback forms, etc.).

  • Initiate employment verification & on-boarding processes following notification of offer acceptance from Talent Acquisition.

  • Ensure the update and maintain personal files of all employees, along with compliance of all necessary documentation for HO / Sales Region.

  • SHARP Super user for Middle East & Pakistan.
  • Responsible for filling in and maintaining SHARP.
  • Ensure that database are efficiently developed, implemented and maintained to enhance managers’ access to HR data and support their decisions, as well as to provide cost-
  • effective service to employees

  • Receives request to create requisition & Creates requisition in Taleo
  • Coordinates interview schedules of qualified, external and internal candidates with hiring manager and interview team.
  • Organizes interview logistics including meeting location and distribution of required documents (i.e. resume, requests for candidate information, interview guides, feedback forms, etc.).

  • Initiate employment verification & on-boarding processes following notification of offer acceptance from Talent Acquisition.
  • Ensure internal moves and new hire transactions are processed.
  • Oversee on a local level the payroll activities, liaise with Line Managers post joining such as : employee ID, organization chart updating, and etc.
  • Ensure HR Data is updated and 100% accurate within the team, and in line with policies.
  • Ensure updated SHARP records reflecting current organizational changes through aligning relevant HR stakeholders who are accountable for SHARP operation and maintenance
  • Continuous Improvement / Innovation

  • Contribute to identify areas for delivery improvement and optimization.
  • Continuously work on improvement of processes and procedures and proactively suggest optimizations
  • Support (and possibly co-lead) projects in collaboration with greater HR community.
  • Operate fully in line with agreed processes and use tracking and recording or recurring issues to escalate items that should be reviewed for continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Knowledge including : education, qualifications and training

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. MBA Preferable
  • Skills

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work closely with other departments within the organisation.
  • Ability to identify, initiate and implement corrective actions.
  • Broad planning and cross-functional understanding.
  • SAP User is preferable.
  • Experience

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in HR, ideally in a multi-national organization
